Named in honor of its founder, violinist Richard Luby, the Symposium offers participants intensive instruction, performance opportunities, and exchange of interpretation ideas ranging across five centuries of violin repertoire. Artist-Faculty include guest artists violinist Fabian Lopez and pianist Ināra Zandmane (UNCG), symposium director and violinist Nicholas DiEugenio (UNC-CH), violinist Aaron Berofsky (University of Michigan), violist Jordan Bak (UNCSA), violist Rubina Bak (teaching artist), cellist Caroline Stinson (Duke, Ciompi Quartet), and pianist Mimi Solomon (UNC-CH).
Course dates are May 12-16, with arrival on May 11 and departure on May 17.
